The search and selection business in Europe is facing constant changes with opportunities and threats. As a consequence search and selection firms have made a
remarkable work to adapt their offers, tools and methodology to cope with new demands from their clients. But, along with those evolutions, the range of offers in the recruitment industry (CV
vending, success fee, retainer, in house recruitment...) has become so wide that clients have sometimes difficulties to differentiate the commitments, the quality and added value between
them.
In this context, professional associations are doing an excellent job in demonstrating the added value of national search and selection consulting firms and implementing codes of practice to comply with local regulation and ethics.
